Description

ECCOSAFE Salt and Calcium remover is a heavy duty commercial grade acid cleaner designed to remove stubborn efflorescence.

-High strength blend of acids (stronger than our Phosphoric Acid Cleaner)
-Removes heavy grout haze
-Removes hard water deposits and rust stains
-Not for use on natural stone unless authorised by a ECCOSAFE representative
-Recommended to do a final rinse with our ECCOSAFE Neutral Cleaner after use

Usage Instructions

Please read these instructions carefully prior to use. Always do a test in an inconspicuous area to ensure competence and satisfaction.

SURFACE PREPARATION

1. First sweep tiles to remove all dirt & loose debris.
2. Depending on the paver or stone and the level of contamination, mix the SALT AND CALCIUM REMOVER 1 part to 20 parts to water or as follows:
   Concrete: 1 part SALT AND CALCIUM REMOVER to 20 parts water
   Granite – Basalt – Sandstone – Clay Pavers: 1 part SALT AND CALCIUM REMOVER to 10-15 parts water.
3. Apply the solution carefully with a sponge or synthetic mop & allow to stand for 1 to 2 minutes only.
4. Agitate
5. Do not let solution dry
6. Remove the solution with a wet vac or dense mop & scrub gently to remove all the SALT AND CALCIUM REMOVER residue.
7. Rinse at least twice with a solution of ECCOSAFE NEUTRAL CLEANER to remove any residual acidity.

PRECAUTIONS

1. DO NOT MIX SALT AND CALCIUM REMOVER with any other cleaners.
2. Rubber gloves, eye wear & other protective accessories must be worn during use of SALT AND CALCIUM REMOVER. Wash everything after use.
3. Keep away from carpets, treated metal surfaces & protect all other household furnishings from contact with acid.
4. DO NOT use on stones sensitive to acid such as marble, limestone, travertine or terrazzo. Test before use on any surface.
